MASC T-Shirt Design Contest
The Marine Science Department is having a contest for new MASC t-shirts for the new year! On the front will be the logo, but we’re wanting something unique on the back of the shirt. If you have any ideas, now you get the chance to have it possibly be printed on new t-shirts! The contest is open to both MASC and non-MASC students but the design must be marine science related!
Here are the contest requirements and deadlines:
- The design must be marine science related. You are free to have both an image and text. Goes without saying but the design and text must be appropriate – no derogatory language or imagery. If possibly, keep the color variety to a minimum. The design will be printed on either a white or blue t-shirt. For blue t-shirts they will either be the UNC blue or a dark blue (ie. #36639b).
- Please have your design in a .jpeg, .gif, .png – with a minimum size of 800×800 pixels. Or vector file types (Vector files are preferred.) Any design file type must have a transparent background.
- Send attach your design in an email with the subject: “MASC T-Shirt Design Contest” to shihreyc@email.unc.edu by 11:59p Friday, December 18th*. Please specify if your design will need to be printed on a white or blue t-shirt. If blue, specify which kind.
- The winner of the contest will not only have their design printed but will receive a free t-shirt with their design!
