Dr Rick Leuttich warns of potential flooding and increased water levels for the North Carolina coast as Hurricane Maria approaches

Dr. Leuttich informed CarolinaCoastOnline that according to forecasting models developed by himself and his colleagues, North Carolina’s coastal residents need to be wary of rising water levels. He predicts that water levels will increase an extra 1-2 feet as Hurricane Maria passes by along the coastline.
