The Daily Tar Heel Recently published an article including some favorite fall classes from the Fall 2020 semester. The first of them being MASC 101, taught by Dr. Karl Castillo.
One of Dr. Castillo’s students, Lexi Sparks, goes on to say:
“I really appreciated how passionate the professor was about the class, and I have been interested in marine biology since I was a little girl, so I was excited to finally be able to explore it further,” and she mentioned that Dr. Castillo’s comfort with the online platform and his well-organized Sakai page made the class straightforward and manageable.
