UNC Marine Sciences’ is proud to host a seminar by Carol Hee, PhD. Title: Addressing Climate Change with Innovation in the Corporate Sector
Abstract: Despite the Trump Administration’s withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord, corporate leaders not only do not question climate science, they are assuming active roles in addressing the challenge of climate change mitigation by taking steps to reduce emissions. This presentation searches for signs of hope from investors, retailers, consumer goods companies, and entrepreneurs. The speaker, Carol A. Hee, is a MASC 2002 PhD who teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.
