Title: Drones for Research: Development of a New Lab at UNC
Abstract: Unoccupied Aerial Systems (UASs; drones and the sensors they carry) offer new methods for data collection and often times higher quality data, with the added benefits of access to challenging locations and better safety. A new drone lab is being launched at UNC and that effort is designed to support education, research, and innovation around remote sensing. That initiative will be highlighted along with UAS applications. Bring your ideas!
