Research Interests

Ami is a Ph.D. candidate in Geochronology and Isotope Geochemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her dissertation focuses on sub-solidus crystallization and mineral re-equilibration in granitic plutons, specifically exploring magmatic to metamorphic processes within the Tuolumne Intrusive Suite, CA, an incrementally intruded plutonic complex. Her research integrates titanite petrochronology, U-Pb geochronology, and boron geochemistry. Ami earned an M.S. in Geology from the University of South Florida, where she studied boron geochemistry in volcanic rocks from the Lesser Antilles, and a B.A. in Geological Sciences with a minor in Art History from the University of Florida.
