Research Interests
I returned to college after retiring from a lucrative career in Home Building. I wanted to reinvent myself to bring together two of my passions in life, Archaeology and Geology. For the past several years, I have researched modern methods of nondestructive analysis of artifacts. Our archaeological heritage is finite, and being destroyed at an exponential rate due to population expansion. Every day, another indigenous site is permanently removed from the archaeological record. As curators of the past, we must protect those resources that have already been excavated. Our museums and institutions abound with remnants of those who came before us that need further analysis.
