I am an early-career scientist studying the impacts of anthropogenic climate change and land use / land cover change on flood risk at different scales. I am interested in landscape evolution, hazard quantification, and risk communication.
Research and Activities
I physically model future climate and land use scenarios to predict inundation extent and depth for hypothetical storms along the coastal plain of North Carolina. This information can then be used to quantify financial losses and inform planning efforts for a range of potential future conditions.
