Research Interests

Extreme weather events – tropical and extratropical cyclones, atmospheric rivers, convection – and the weather patterns that spawn them. Changes in weather patterns and precipitation characteristics associated with climate change, especially related to extreme precipitation. Effects of changing precipitation extremes on wet and dry water cycle anomalies.
