Research Interests
My current research focuses on using observations from the SWOT satellite to help monitor water resources in river and reservoir systems around the world. My previous research focused on modeling the evolution of asteroids and meteors through the atmospheres of Venus, Earth, and Mars for impact crater formation (Masters, UNC), as well as using satellite data for groundwater resources in the Central Valley of California and for the effect of permafrost thaw on infrastructure in Fairbanks, Alaska (NASA DEVELOP, JPL).
