Research Interests
My research focuses on quantifying historical and potential future flood risks for urban areas and essential infrastructure under climate change, focusing on eastern North Carolina. During my PhD, I focused on monitoring and modeling urban flooding to inform climate adaptation for urban transportation and stormwater infrastructure, including the responsible use of existing climate data and the application of green infrastructure and nature-based solutions under the deep uncertainty associated with climate change.
