B.S. Geology, Stony Brook University, 2016
Ph.D. student in Dr. Laura Moore’s lab working to understand and model the evolution of barrier islands and dunes over time as sea level rises. I am especially interested in the impacts this evolution will have on humans who live both on the barrier islands and the low-lying coastal regions being protected by them. Coming from a place that is threatened by sea level rise, being able to understand and predict its effects is something that hits close to home.
Outside of academics, my interests include playing/watching baseball, making music, cooking, and taking the time to explore new places
