My research was focused on the Roosevelt Hot Springs Geothermal System in the Mineral Mountains, Utah. Specifically, I characterized the faults within the system using U-Pb isotope geochemistry. A better understanding of these faults provides a better understanding of the flow of super-heated water in the subsurface, which is used to power geothermal plants.
